Meg's Savage Race was born out of love — love for a woman who spent her entire life showing up for others.

Meg Maloney (June 22, 1987 – October 1, 2025) was a passionate rugby player, a devoted animal rescuer, and a tireless supporter of special needs athletes and military communities. She never asked for anything in return. She just gave. When Meg was diagnosed with AML leukemia, her community showed up for her the only way they knew how — by being savage.

What started as a race to support Meg has become a yearly tribute to everything she stood for. Every burpee, every weighted carry, every ball slam is done in her honor. Every dollar raised goes toward causes she believed in — this year, benefiting the Women's Humane Society.

We race because Meg can't. We race because she would have been right there beside us, cheering the loudest, giving the most, and finishing strong. So lace up, show up, and race like the savage she always knew you could be.
